shall transmit the record to the Director of

Civil Affairs who may thereupon exercise any of

the powers conferred by rticle 23 of this

Proclamation upon a confirming authority.

Article 25.

Evidence. Practice and Procedure.

(1) The Director of Civil Affaire may-

(a) make rules of evidence, practice and

procedure for the Standin, Military Court

not being inconsistent with the provision

of this or any other Proclamation, and

(b, by order, amend, very or add to the

schedule to this Proclamation.

(2) Save as expressly provided by or by

virtue of proclamation or such rules the practice

rules of evidence and procedure of the Standing

Vilitary Court shall be in accordance with that

of the supreme Court or of the Magistrates courts

in Hong Kong, whichever may in the opinion of the

court be the most appropriate to the case,
